Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a very unique modality. Focusing on specific trigger points through the body most commonly affected in the shoulders and neck.

These trigger points may refer pain into other areas of the body. For example the side of the neck may refer into the head just behind the ear and down into the wrist. Please note that you should never exceed pain greater than a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.

By using a method of pressure and release while you are instructed on a specific breathing technique that helps relieve the pain and tension felt throughout the body.

The benefits of Trigger Point Therapy most times greatly outweigh the discomfort experienced. They include; increased range of motion, tension relief, tension headache/migraines and is great for chronic pain management.
