Generally, Post-Event Sports massage (immediately to 24-hours after the event) works with the body through a specific protocol of strokes to release toxins. It also lengthens the muscles and tissues with stretching and helps to relax muscular tension.

Pre-Event Sports massage (best with-in 30 minutes of an event) uses very stimulative strokes, "pumping up" the body so that the blood and oxygen are flowing freely, aiding your muscles to give you full range of motion, and putting you at the top of your game mentally.

This modality keeps your body ready to perform at its optimal level.
